False hunting pressure from dove hunting
Here in Georgia, dove season starts about a month and a half before deer firearms. I love to dove hunt, but since I don't have a game camera, I've always wondered if I am scaring off my deer herd that I have worked all summer to build. Anyone ever witnessed a drop in deer density once you start shooting doves?

Hunters and gunfire
...can scare off wildlife for a while.
But they seem to come back when the hunters are all gone.
I've had dove come and visit the yard and back deck. Easy for them to determine when the shooting is non existent.
Maybe some hunters expect game to magically appear to hunters and gunshot and not make a difference.

Dove hunters usually stay out of the deep cover and really only spend a few hours at field edges and hedge rows. I'm sure they keep deer out of fields until dark but doubt they run them off.
