Well, Bow opened here in Wisconsin Earlier than ever before. Went out opener and got skunked. Hunted one other night it dipped below 70 degrees above uff da. Saw three does in that sit.

This week had been pleasantly in the 50 to 60 degrees above uff da. I am headed up by Heyward to my cabin and hopefully there will be some meat in the locker come Monday.

Spent 8 hours the night before our season opened going through the gear. Making sure the packs had the right gear in them. Checking my calls, Repairing any tears in the camo. Taking inventory of ammo and arrows. One last check of the bow and crossbow for damage. Cleaning all the guns and scopes. Checked the stands and blinds. All while watching hunting dvds.

Put a few thousand arrows in the target over the summer and at least half a box through the rifles making sure all is well on the accuracy front. And put my one trail camera out on a few different spots to get an idea of where I wanted to be.
