Could it just be a difference in moon phase/cloud cover?...not the light but the glowing weeds?

To add to the intrigue of these pictures I am attaching the last picture taken before the bright light picture. I have blown up the image in the photo in the second picture. I'm sure it is some type of night bug but looks like a small angel.

Because your camera's shuter speed is not fast enough to stop the motion so it is blurry.
