Deer eating soy beans
Will deer eat soy beans after the leaves turn yellow and are they eating the bean or the leaves?

RE: Deer eating soy beans
Hey Rambino, yes deer will still eat the leaves but not as much as they do when the plants are young and soft. I have seen deer eat both but mainly the leaves. When the leaves turn yellow on a soy bean plant, the deer look for other food sources. Good Luck!! -- CDH

Hunt the acorns and corn piles.

RE: Deer eating soy beans
Deer will most definitely eat the beans when the leaves dry up. They do prefer acorns at that time, but never ignore the beans, especially in late winter. I would much rather hunt over a picked bean field than a picked corn field in late winter.
