Elevated scouting works really well if possible. deer trails ETC.

I'm with you on this, Rockport. No question. I'm just looking at my basic equipment and set-up and wondering about it. The only serious gap I'm seeing is elevation.

I took a big step in remedying that by landing I did a hanger stand yesterday on clearance. It had actually been tucked away in storage till fall when I asked if they had any.
