hello, and welcome!!

1. be aware of your target, and whats beyond

2. ALWAYS tell someone where you are going, and how long you' ll be there.

3. keep some form of communication, whether it be a cellphone, a walkie talkie, etc. and remember that all cellphones can dial 911. reguardless of whether you have a provider. they all work!

4. Always carry Hunter Orange

5. Never have a loaded weapon in a vehicle or carry one while getting into your stand.

6. Always treat a weapom as if it were loaded

7. whenever possible, hunt with someone, whether you are in different locations on the same property, or even in the same stand, its always more fun to have a partner!

8. be aware of your local hunting regulations

9. when you shoot, be sure to wait ATLEAST an hour, unless you see it fall. and be sure to respect the animal that hjas just given its life for you.

10. when you see garbage or anything else thats not supposed to be in the woods, pick it up, its always good to have a clean woods.

11. HAVE FUN!!

Good luck :)

Before taking walkie talkies in the woods, better consult your state regulations because some states it is illegal to carry then while deer hunting.

Be still, quite, patient, and persistant. Use a good cover scent and know your target.

And welcome aboard. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I do.

MD' s quote: 6. Always treat a weapom as if it were loaded

I thought that was supposed to be " Treat every hunter as if he were loaded."

Seriously. like Swar 308 said, let us know the layout of the land etc... and we will see what we can do to help. Good Luck! -- CDH
