I smell like bacon and eggs when I leave. I have had deer, elk, moose and antelope within 5 feet of me and not know that I am there. IMO scents are another gimmick to make someone else rich. Our forefathers never had any of these and they hunted to live. They must have done something right, because we are here.

Well I am look' n for another set of deer whistle' s to stick
On the front of my truck and a set for my oliver 550.
Since I traided in my 79 Chevy c10. I haven't been able
To find um. I new I should of taken them off my truck.
Never hit a deer with that truck killed a few rabbits and
A raccoon but never hit a deer.
I would feel something awful if I ran over a deer disking up a field
Or plowing and one jumped out of a brush row.

Had set of those on my hunting truck when I got it.
First thing I did was take them off. My brother in laws father had them on his new truck the first week he had it a deer ran into it. The deer ran in front of him and turned around and ran into the side of the front fender, so they work good lol.

Talking

gargle with vanilla to make a pleasant smell to your breath. Maybe baking soda would work too.

I smoke, so I use that as my "cover" scent - LOL

More often I have to put my cigarette down to take the shot.

I've been thinking that I should bury my rifle in the leaves during the off season, so they can't smell the solvent and oil ?!?!

Play the wind................. !!!
