How many guys or gals here hunt by them self.
And how many hunt with someone else.
My other half hunts but she climes a tree and
Stays there for the season.
So I don't think I can count her.
I move around and I don't clime trees.
Up north in our NZ I go by my self. She won't go.

Always hunted with family till 1990. I bought a nice chunk of property then and several friends expressed interest in hunting there with me. Started with 6 of us the last one died in 2004. I hunted 2005 alone and took 2 guys from my sportsman club in 2006. Laziest people I have ever had the experience to hunt with.
I have hunted alone since then. Wife knows where I am and if I don't return home by Dec. 1st she knows where to send the search party.

The only way my daughters will go out is if I'm sitting with them. But I don't mind because it's always a lot more fun to see them shoot something then doing it myself. And it gives me a chance to spend what little precious time I have left with them before they get ready to start their adult life's.

totally depends on the hunt.I like having companions but I have noticed ,though ,that I tend to have better luck when alone.when you hunt with others you tend to make a plan. where you going what time you want to meet back at truck, ect. when alone you tend to just go with the flow and switch up your tactics without having to worry about it affecting your hunt buddies.

I've mostly hunted by myself. Have for many years. This includes hunts for deer, elk, antelope, black and grizzly bears, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and moose. Have been successful on all of those hunts except for a grizz.

I almost always hunt with my father. We are usually on opposite sides of or property. For the past 2 years my nephew is been going with me. Before they passed we always hunted with my grandfather and his uncle. Usually spring turkey hunting we setup together.
