Worst season I have had in years!!! Didn't see hardly any deer at all!! Had a couple of chances to take a doe early, but since I could only take 1 deer this year, I was holding out for the rut, hoping to see some bucks. Should have taken one of those does in the early season.

Had a very memorable season this year for both bow and rifle. Was able to hunt many times with no shot opportunities with a bow but close encounters. Did harvest a buck and doe with a rifle. The doe just yesterday morning, the last day of season.

The best part was my son wanting to hunt again. He had lost the desire to hunt and before season started, he came to me asking if he could hunt with me. Of course I immediately said yes. It was great to spend some quality time with my son.

I had a good overall season, I bagged my first elk cow and that pretty much filled our freezer so I donated my deer(doe) to my pastor who then gave it to some local families that needed meat.

Yes killed 3 does, dad a nice 4 pointer, but the best part aS being their when my 8 years old nephew killed his first one a doe about 75 yards away. It was the first deer he ever shot at and his first year he was old enough to take a gun been in the woods since he was 2. He did every thing his self. To me the best part was giving the rifle after a model seven 7/08 youth, and seeing his face light up.

Every season I get to hunt is a success. Took me to the last day of the season to get a deer, a doe for the freezer. What happened in between made the season a success.

Average year, spiker, big 8, and a doe, hunted in NY & PA (and 3 hours with my wife's cousin in DE). Still have a couple weeks left locally. Pretty much an off year around here, from all the reports I've heard.
