down in the thick brush country of south Texas where you need to draw deer out of the heavy cover onto a sendero or small open area to even see them.
What about people who hunt even thicker cover where baiting is illegal? What can they do to see deer?

Something along those lines will be the next trip I go on if I dont move there first. I moved from Ohio to the blue ridge mountains of VA within the past couple years, love it here however I am highly considering a move west if I can land the right job. The more desolate, the better. lol

That's what I did. I came here to hunt for decades before finally moving here. Best thing I ever did in my life. I love it here.

I found a small quiet town of 2200 at 8000ft in the Rockies. It takes me 10 minutes to be into elk and muley's.

I also love to fly fish, and I can't imagine a better area than here for that.

Wow, that is what I call living the dream! What kind of jobs are available in the area?

I like hunting like that. There are just you and wild nature! This is real hunting.
