All I shoot is Hornady SP and BTSP reloads in all three calibers I use for most of my hunting (.243, 25-06, and 3 30-06s). I use 150s in my 30-06s and the .308 is almost the same ballistics as the longer 30-06 cartridge.

I load for two 308s. 150 grain Barnes Triple Shocks. Drops deer quick.

I forgot about the no-lead restrictions some places have. I have just been using the X bullet since the late 1990s because I love their performance.

Most of these factory loads with solid copper bullets seem to cost way more than lead core ammo. Is that what we have to look forward to here in Kali?
Thanks...

There really expensive lead core bullets out there too. Ever price the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw? Mucho dinero. Premium bullets are costly.
