When is the best time to look for sheds in south texas?

After the bucks drop them---Just trying to make an obvious funny!!! Most people look for sheds early in the Spring so they are not weathered or rodent gnawed. Most of south Texas is referred to as the brush country and I can't remember ever finding a shed down there over the many years I hunted several ranches because it's so thick.

knowing when they drop here in GA i would say Feb and March or b4 rattle snakes come out. :eek:
