Default Need help asap

So yesterday I shot at a deer. I followed its tracks for 120+ yards with no blood. Today I went for a walk because I got cold in my stand and I came across three 1 inch splatters of some sort of pink stuff. It was in the general area of where I shot it but I didn't see it the day before. Anybody know what this is? I've never seen pink blood from a deer.

Do you know you hit it for sure? If so, was it possibly gut shot? Are you seeing this blood in snow? Pink blood almost sounds like a lung or heart shot, but if that is what it was, you would have seen a lot of blood within 120 yds.

From my experience pink blood and not very much blood don't go together usually. Pink blood.

Pink usually means vitals especially lungs.

What did you shoot it with?

if it is pink a frothy looking it can be lung blood or blood from a major artery the hit could be high and maybe only got one lung, this could be the reason for lack of a good blood trail..

When I shot at it it just stopped and stated at me for 30-35 seconds. Then it jut walked away like nothing happened. I didn't see any blood yesterday so I assumed I missed it

I have ad deer do that before and they are often liver hit, but a liver hit deer bleeds dark red blood.. to bad your not close I have a buddy who has blood hounds if it is hit and dead they would find it even two or three days after the shot..

Ive had that happen on lung shot deer with a bow a few time but I don't recall it ever happening with a gun.

"So yesterday I shot at a deer" MLH

Where do you think you hit the deer ?

You shoot at him with what ?

How far was the deer when you shot ?
