deer rubs

When you find deer rubs. Will a buck go back to that area? or does he do his thing and just abandon that area?

A lone rub could be a bit random but a rub line means he will likely be back. Too bad they don't leave "Out to Lunch, Will Return at XX:XX" signs for us.

lol idk if that was an insult or youre just trying to be funny. there were 4 or 5 trees with rubs on them. it was kind of exciting to find one so close to my house. idk. i was just curious. im going to go put a trail cam and some deer urine out there to see if he comes back.

My experience ... NATO is pretty much right. A rub line usually indicates a frequented travel route. If scrapes developed along that same route, so much the better. But like NATO says .... no telling when the buck makes his trek. I have killed a few bucks working rub/scrape lines. And I have spent countless hours watching scrape/rub lines to no avail. And alas, I have 1000's of trail camera shots of bucks that made their trips only at night.
