Your favorite shot

I'm curious on what yalls favorite Rifle shot is. My favorite has to be a double shoulder shot, Ive dropped many deer in their tracks with that shot.

So how bout you. Whats your favorite rifle shot? Also if youve got any good experiances or tips id love to hear em.

When I'm shooting a trophy I want them down ASAP so I prefer the double shoulder/take out running gear shot. (That's why I prefer Barnes bullets) But for does I prefer saving as much meat & will settle for a brief run & will double lung them.

I shoot double lung.......the heart is prime meat

I like the quartering shot into the lungs. Works well and doesn't damage much meat.

Right behing the shoulder, in the crease, little meat damage and a devastating shot.

I used to shoot all of mine in the lower thorax to get a heart/lung shot, but starting last year I've been shooting in the neck. They'll either bleed out super fast, or drop immediately.

i like double shoulder or heart lung i will always opt for the double shoulder as it at least to me really knocks them down but thats just 1 rednecks opinion

I prefer a double lung shot. They don't go far at all. On bear, I bust shoulders, but on deer elk and moose I lung them.

I look neck first - less meat damaged and easier cleaning, not to mention they tend to tip over a lot quicker. If there's any doubt, though, I move to heart/lung.
