In 2013 I used a 2 blade rage. Never found the bolt or the broadhead.

In 2014 I used a swacker to harvest the 10pt. Found the broadhead within the deer with 1/2 of the bolt. Found the luminock end a few days later, while gathering paw paw and black walnuts.

It looks like the same deer, but should have been easy to tell once you skinned him. Scar, tissue damage, etc.

That is what I figured. Probably didn't get through the shoulder the first time.

At the time of the 10pt harvest, the previous years 8pt was not on my mind. I took the deer straight to a processor, who can do a much better job than myself capping the deer. I don't know if he had any distinguishing marks to settle this issue. All I have to go by are the photos and the opinions of this forum. Thanks to all who provided input.
