Default proof mock scrapes work

I have been using them for years with a fair amount of success..

But never like this... put out scent dripper and camera on the 4th at about 11am..
look at the time stamp on the pic...

I killed this buck on the 5th at 10am as he and another buck made their way to check the mock scrape.

I it was an old scrape from last year on the edge of a bedding area. I have never had much luck trying to start my own scrape, and yes there was and overhead licking branch[I put nothing on it though]

In the magnum scent dripper same thing I always use after much trial and error,Wildlife research active scrape time release formula..

I have deer use mock scrapes year round using active scrape..

I tried a mock scrape this year for the first time and haven't had really any luck with it. Might have to try the Active Scrape to see what it's about.

On friday I put out a scent dripper with the active scrape in it so we'll see if anything decided to come to it next time I get out there to hunt and check that camera.

Congrats on the buck. I hope I have that kind of luck with a mock scrape this season.

Hoosier trapping supply also makes some good scents and you can buy in bulk cheap..
