The main thing is Time,the more you spend in your stands, the more successful you'll be!!! Take your lunch hunt & piss bottle (half gallon milk jug) stay all day all day!!! No big deer was killed sit n the kitchen ,restaurant or bar!!! Only BS is thing you will shoot there!!!

The biggest thing is to practice with your bow, may it be compound or cross bow, get out there and shoot from all sort of yrds and in stand. Practice shooting the bow tell you think your good....and go out and do it some more.
