Yep. totally normal. Typically people wait awhile before gutting and this nervous system response is long but dead and gone. Must have started field dressing her pretty quick after she expired.

However, I did shoot a coon with an arrow once and when I went to move it from my hunting area, its intestines were moving, and out of a hole in its intestines were crawling about 10 what I assume were round worms. Pretty disgusting stuff...

Yep, just nerves and normal movements. However I have never experienced or watched for this and I've stood over plenty of field dressed animals.

Funny that you posted this. I shot a doe on Saturday and after field dressing I saw the intestines do the exact same thing. First time I have ever noticed it. Probably the quickest I have ever field dressed a deer after shooting so I was just assuming that was the reason.
