The pictures are nowhere near good enough to even begin to give a guess on ages of either of those bucks.

Agree 100% with TopGun. Noway to tell anything from those photos at all.

Based on the fact that I am not the least bit familiar with physical characteristics of NJ deer & based on the extremely limited amount of info contained in those pics I estimate 2.5yrs as a "best case scenario" & more likely a 3.5yr old.

Like everyone one else said, there isn't enough there to tell and I am unfamiliar with NJ whitetail. However you have some very nice bucks on your hands there.

Shoot both, cut a leg off each one, and count the rings.
