Actually, it would be VERY different. With a vehicle you have the ability to relocate in a matter of seconds. You don't have the same option on a stand or in a blind.

In some places a parked vehicle is an effective blind. Animals get used to seeing parked vehicles all over ranches and don't pay much attention unless there are people or dogs visible around the vehicle.
I've shot a couple antelope from a parked pickup truck.

I do not condone the practice of driving back roads and stopping to shoot at game spotted from the road.

Provided the vehicle has slowed down to less than 20 MPH and the shooter has a blood alcohol level of less than .10
19mph at .09 blood alcohol can be just has effective.

Assuming I hunt from a climber I can easily move to another area. Obviously not in a matter of seconds but in a matter of a few minutes. I don't see it as a big difference.
