TSR6, I've been pondering in my own mind as to which way I would have had the taxidermist do that left eye, so I thought I'd ask... Was it a tough decision, or did you know how you wanted the eye from the beginning?

Yessir. It slides! It doesn't open in or out.

I had to give it a proper eye... I didnt really know the eye was 100% bad until he called. I knew it was swollen mostly shut when I shot it, but I had no idea the eye was dead.

Either way, I've never seen a deer done that way - and I was probably too chicken to be the first...lol..

lol, It's a crazy-stupid fluke!

I've had cameras up for ~4 years now, and I've only once ever even spooked a deer up while walking in to check my camera before, during, or after season.

I pulled my camera down for the year this past weekend, did a little putzing around, found the tree my bullet passed through roughly 5yards after passing through my deer.

Suckers sure do some damage...
