I have a Lone Wolf, so I don't have to worry about such nonsense.

Just the hole in your wallet! :)

Yes NEhomer, there's a certain amount of truth to that, but having my stand for 10+ years off-sets the expense! There's the best, and there's all of the rest. :s4:

Lol!

I have a Summit Goliath that seems to be pretty sweet. Haven't spent a season in it yet but of all the things to skimp on, your stand ain't the place to cut your budget. I made a footrest extension in my shop and it's quite comfy.

I've heard that those footrests really make a differance. What is it that it does to make you more comfy? Better blood circulation?

By the way, I've heard nothing but good stuff regarding Summit stands, it's just that I'm a hard-core LW devotee. :D

Well it just lets your feet extend out and then rest on a bar. I made mine out of 1" x 1/8" steel with a pair of brackets that align with the stand rails and it's just zip tied in place. Covered with camo duct tape to quiet and hide it and it didn't add much weight.

...and yeah, Lone Wolf's are top of the line for sure.

I have had the same problem when I'm wearing rubber boots. Usually, it happens when I don't have the seat folded back against my butt.

Yeah, it's when I walk with it on my back. I pull the straps tight, but it still seems to be a problem even with the seat cushion on my butt. I think I'm going to slide the strap to a lower rail. Maybe that will work

Well I'd go to a store that sells Summits

Ask a techy how they put a tree stand together for hauling to the tree site.
I know. American hunters never make a mistake.

This is a quick survey that I made as part of a project for a class that I am currently enrolled. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone who hunts would take this survey. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19Xd...0dyUM/viewform
