Default Buck Age Estimation
I hunt in Southern NY (Dutchess County) and this is the biggest buck I have gotten on trail camera so far this season. If someone could please help me out with an age estimation, I would greatly appreciate it. From seeing this deer in real life he looks like he weighs roughly in the 170ish Pound Range.

2.5 would be my idea

His stomach is not flat which happens 3.5 to 4

Stomach starts to sag after

Id say 2.5...nice looking fellow though. The 2.5yr olds are good eating.

At 3.5 their chest broadens by their brisket, at 4.5 they are even broader and start developing that bull looking skull, after 4.5 it's a crap shoot until they start declining and then you just say they're old.
