I guess some would call him a cull deer but i like weird racks (on deer). Looks to have decent mass, hope he makes it to next year id like to see how he turns out.





Not sure what that is around his brow tines, guess its from a tree.


You think both of these deer are 2.5 years old or older? 2nd one has a pretty big body

That's true buddy, looks like some good steaks on those deer but I'd like to see them grow. Don't have any day time pics and just a few days of rifle season left. Got a few kids in gonna put in that spot the next few days, hopefully one will show up. Either would be a great first buck.

This is #3 big buck in the area...I have yet to see any in daylight

and a couple years later,he was 16pts taken on a state park reduction hunt. I just happened to work at the park when he was brought in.Broke my heart.

Another from the same property.It borders the state park where the 16pt was killed.I'd venture a guess there is some gene pool problems....which is fine by me
