I'd say he would be scored as a typical. The kickers will be deducts for the net score. I like to go by the gross score because you count everything. Nice bucks, congrats!

Yup i agree.if every buck taken that had a couple of extra sticker points was to be considered a nontypical then 90 percent of bucks would be nontypicals.afew extra kickers on a buck is fairly common.

I wouldnt say 170 but 160. Great buck either way. Not long tines but it is a 6x6 with massive measurements on the main beams. Looks like you got yourself a nice place to hunt big bucks.

Thanks everyone for the feed back!

I got the 12-pointer 6x6 2 years ago and it scored 175 green. The CBM scorer told me to have him re-score it after 60-days for the official dry score. I never got around to it, which doesn't matter because they stop shrinking. But I am going to get it re-scored here in a week or so.

I'm headed to the taxidermist with the 11-pointer 6x5 next week once I get the head back from the butcher. I'll have the taxidermist score the 11-pointer and post back here in case anyone is interested.

Thanks again!

I shot a 10 pt years ago with a drop tine on one side and a short 4" point in between the 2nd and 3rd tine. When I had it scored I was told you need 15" of non typical inches to score as a non typical, otherwise they are just deductions. Not sure if it is true or not, just what I was told. Very nice deer either way. congrats

The first buck should be scored as a typical 8 with NT deductions.

The second buck might be low 150's after deductions. Decent mass. Real nice buck.

I've no idea. But offer you a hearty Congrats!
