Default This buck grew from last year but does he need one more?

Hey, so I had this buck a few times come in bow range last year and I think he was a 1.5 year then, maybe 2.5 but he was really small for mass. He has a unique feature with his width but no tine length. I know there are 180's alive from last year in the area but this guy looks sweet and would be hard to pass up.

We kind of thought that his genetics are going to make him just not grow much tine length upward.

He has been around during summer 2012, during hunting season and was in the corn fields we left up during the winter. Still back this summer so I must been in his core home range.

What do you think?

2012 season, first pic is from after season, few broken points from fighting

2013 season

Man, he is wide. Tines are a little short but that may be just the way he is. I think he looks awesome and I would shoot him now.

It depends on the situation. Is it your property you manage? If its your property and you know someone else wont shoot him Id give him another year and see if he gets any larger, he still looks young.

If he was where Im at, which is over crowded with hunters, that sucker would be on the ground.

Depends how old he is if he's 3 1/2 or younger I would let him walk. But it also depends if your hunting pressured land.

Doesnt really look like hes growing much to me. Tine length looks about the same but hes gotten a tad wider. Id shoot him given the chance.

He needs to be removed from the herd. He may have grown but not much. Cool, unique looking deer

What if he gets one chance at him this year, but doesn't see him next year? How do you guys pass on bucks and find the same ones in future years?
