My favorite portable. frame is 3/4" PCV. use pole barn spikes to stake it down that can be pulled from frozen ground with a crow bar.

How do you prevent all that snow from collapsing the top of the blind?

The 3/4 inch PVC it pretty strong and I usually flip all the snow off once I get in it. Have had 19 inch's at one time, a lot does slide off when you get that much.

Just finished getting it set up. Seems like I've only been planning it for the past two years. This season will hopefully be a lot more comfortable.

It's 5x5, built out of 2x2s and 1/2" ply with a forward slope of 6' in the front and 6 1/2 in the rear.
