Default Score on This Bugger

This from the 2009 season. We're on a big piece of thick, private property and none of the hunters on our property got this guy yet. Would love to think he's 4 years older and still around.

He looks pretty mature in that picture, I think after 6 years old most bucks start to loose mass/antler more than gain? but maybe im wrong, if he is alive and 7 or 8 years old could be a monster

You think he scores any good? Gross, I would go with as he's a big bundle of deductions.

I thought the same thing... As somebody said on another thread, i dont get into deductions. If he grew it, then it counts. Thats why buckmaster is becoming more and more popular. I realy dont choose to take or pass on a deer based on whether or not he's symmetrical...

He'd still be awfully nice even now if hes alive, but he's gonna be on the down side real quick here.

The good thing is that he had a little brother. There was a buck that year with a similar rack, but he was smaller. Probably 2 years younger than him.

We have had several non-typical traits show up on our property over the last several years. Icluding a buck with three main beams.

Long g2s but weak brows and the left side is weak.he would be more of a trophy by unique value then score.

You're right. That missing G3 on the left side is a scrore killer, too. But we saw this guy in person a few times and he was impressive to behold. His rack just looks huge. Even though it doesn't score as good as it looks.
