Hi, I'm going to Molokai...it's about 30 miles from Oahu. We can hunt axis deer all year. There is a tremendous population over there. I've seen hundreds running together (the guide said it was 500).

No luck. I was after a big buck and they were laying low. I had a great time and learned a little more. We did a lot of hiking on this trip. The west side is hot and dry. Here's some random photos of the area.

30.06 Spr. , 150 gr. stuff is certainly plenty for deer sized game. Your groups with the PPU stuff are fine, but I am prejudiced towards the Hornady Interlock SP because it is a known to me, where as the PPU soft point is not.
