Jimbo, the state has two different areas. One area is at least 3 points on one side and the other area is at least 4 pts on one side.And a point is defined as at least 1 inch This is saving bucks so they can mature,plus prevents the guy that just blast at any deer or sound then checks it out. I believe the system even has a side effect. It makes it safer for hunters. We must study the deer to make sure inturn giving the hunter a better chance to see any hunter that might be just behind the deer in the thicket

No doubt about it ,Cardeer. The law does several positive things. I think it' s a good law and I can only hope that Maryland adopts something similar over the next couple of years. If PA can illustrate heard improvement and hunter approval, I think that MD might jump on board. We are keeping our fingers crossed!

Nice buck, but I think I' d let him grow another year or two depending on whether he' s on public or private land.
