Filming hunts ?
 

I'm thinking of investing in a go pro camera or something in that realm have any of you used this product or any like it also feed back such as like or dislike pros or cons of cameras would be appreciated

filming your hunts is a great idea, and a Go Pro is HD which is definitely a pro. Remember If you do start filming your hunts, make sure you have a camera arm or tripod.

A Gopro is good only out to 30 yards. I put one on my bow for my New Mexico elk last year and had a elk at 15 yards...on the computer he looked like he was 40 yards away. Still very good for filler footage.

The video age leaves me cold.

Gopros are great intro cameras. The all weather housing and HD video gives you the ability to develop your experience with cameras while still being waterproof. Like mentioned it will limit your abilities like zooms, audio record (will be dampened with waterproof housing unless you get the mic).

The GO Pro is limited in distance but as long as you don't need a close up shot you can still get a nice video that you would want to remember and share. I have been messing around with a basis Go Pro and film a lot of my outdoor activities from hunting to fishing.

This is what I use. Mount is from Cabelas. I have it attached to a screw in step. I use it in my box blind as well. The camera is a Samsung F50BN. I use a Kodak Playsport when I'm on foot tracking. The video quality is excellent. Here is an example.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0V-XbVTcOU
