It is true that the secrets are passed down, usually from Father to son.

To that I will offer this. My Father, who has passed, long ago told me what I have used with great success for many years. I have now handed this down to my sons.

He told me that humans stand and move like no other creature in the woods. He told me to be as till as possible, move every part of your body as slowly as possible and be as quite as a church mouse.

When hunters do not follow these simple things I believe that most hunters never see the deer that see them first and just slide on out of the area unseen.

Thanks Dad!

Our secret, there is no better way to break up the human outline then varying the clothes you wear. I wear one type of camo jacket with a different type of pants. My grandfater and dad wear Carhart overalls and a different jacket, most of the time black or another dark color. They say camo is too expensive. We fill our tags every year and are almost never busted by following this rule (and watching the wind). Any other secrets out there?

Whether another deems something sensible or not, is what is called your opinion. There have been many many post on this forum, that one might deem senseless over the years. But these post are allowed, because they are not span, or product advertisements. This is a public forum, hence there will be many post that are the opinion of the poster, or something they have gathered from their path in life. Some of you would probably like it, but what a dull world this would be, if everyone had the same mind thoughts and opinions of how things should work and be done. This user has done nothing wrong in any of their postings.
