Looks like he is past the ears. Question is, does he look like a trophy to you? I would definetely take an arrow out of the quiver from the 2 photos provided..

You got any deer farms in the nearby area too? It looks like he has some pretty clean notches on his ears

Looks like some good fighting notches. Last year we killed a 8 point that had one ear cut almost halfway down. It was fairly fresh and we were in the middle of the rut. They look like some good 'ol fashion fighting scars!
