Dang son, you tried this same buckshot love on AlDeer and nobody agreed with you. I've killed well over 100 deer with buckshot, only because it was the only thing you could legally dog hunt with in Alabama. I hope I never have to use it again.

I've only had 00 Buck in a shotgun some 30 + yrs ago during a drive. Never needed to shoot.

In WI, buckshot was legal many (over 50) years ago I believe, but has not been legal in my lifetime. Same in MN.

I am sure buckshot is effective at the right range with the right load. And deer in the south run a bit less in weight, making a difference as well. An article about its use is at http://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/...about-buckshot
