You never know when an accident will happen so always be careful in the field!! Here is a video of an elevated blind set up gone wrong!! (Maybe a little graphic for some people)

Wow. That took brains thinking the pallet would stay in the loader bucket. Duh.:bash:

Heck it looks like the problem wasnt the pallet it was the driver of the tractor when he got off looks like he hit the tilt! Good thing no one was hurt, now all you can do is look back and laugh! lol

Accidents happen

Some hunters have done themselves in using a safety harness in a tree stand. That fellas army shirt and those step ladders reminded me those ladders are the deadliest thing used around a home.
A retired army paratrooper general did himself in using a six foot step ladder.

It was the tractor operators fault. As bwhunter said, when the driver got off, he hit the lever to dump the bucket. The funny part of it is the injured guy is now going to operate the bucket for the guy that dumped him. lmao That is trust!!

As far as their thinking goes, to think the pallet set-up would work in the 1st place is ignorance. The majority of the pallet is out of the bucket, with the weight of the ladder on the pallet. Even if the bucket didn't tip, it is an accident waiting to happen. A better method would be to put one man in the blind, chain the ladder to the bucket and lift into place. The man in the blind can now attach the ladder from the safety of the blind. That is assuming the man on the tractor doesn't put it in gear as he gets off and push the blind over. :0

That's the kind of video you expect to hear " hold my beer" before it happens.:)
