What are they?

Hi, I have a question for any deer hunters. I am not fancy about hunting and I am new to it as well. All I know is that when I see a deer I like, I shoot. I was wondering what G2' s and things like that are. I call them all tines. :D Thank you for answering.

RE: What are they?

Brow tines are the G1 tine, and each tine after is G2, G3, G4 etc.etc.

The " G" part simply comes from the letter (section) on an official score sheet.

The ' G" section adds up total tine length.:)

Racks right on the money....

An official score sheet is listed as A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H.......the G is when the tine lengths are measured making the G1, G2, G3 as Rack mentioned...

Just to give another example....the H or H1, H2, H3....is the circumferance measerments....Understand?
