Default Thermacell

I got a thermacell for Christmas. Since I will be bowhunting next year I am happy to have it. My question is , how does everybody else like them? And can deer REALLY not smell it?

They can't be beat for deer and turkey hunting, as well as fishing in a boat or in one spot on the bank.

+1 They are great and will help cut down on your movement as you will not be swating at insects while hunting

I just got one as well. I'll use it for bowhunting next season, and I was thinking of using it for trout fishing. I'm wondering if it will still work well while "slowly moving" along the stream?

One of the few "gimmicks" that actually work. I've killed deer while I had one burning, I'm pretty sure the smell of the bug repellent doesn't spook deer. I've kept them on when I was on the move, and mosquitoes stayed away. The only thing they DON'T repel so far has been gnats.

I almost got one but then the question of "will it work if the wind is blowing" came up so I didn't get it

Do they work on black flies, no-see-ums, and gnats?
