Sorry man but if you can't tell that type of question is very unlikely to be tollerated on a site of avid hunters and conservationist. Using the the I'm a broke 19 year old college kid excuse was a mistake. I am a recently graduated 23 year old broke kid that has worked since I was in the 8th grade. Yes I have a bow, muzzle loader, and rifle but I have earned every one of them. If you don't have a muzzle loader, use your bow. This post really hits home with me becuase it is our responsibiltiy to make sure that the tradition of hunting is carried on in the correct way. All that being said it sounds like you show no real remorse or change of heart for breaking the law so I encurage you to do as many illegal activities as you can to ensure that your hunting career is short lived.

On a side note if you play a sport for a div 1 NCAA team I am pretty sure you are not allowed to have a job...

Marshbanks- you're never going to get anyone to admit on a public hunting forum that they'd sneak on property that wasn't open to hunting, but I guess you figured that out by now. I'd say most people would be a little tempted, but it wouldn't be worth it, both legally or ethically. Hang in there, bang on some doors, ask to tag along, eventually you'll find some decent spots to hunt without having to risk your gun, car, license priviledges, reputation, etc.

it is not right playing within the lines is a myth in some parts of the country. "my land...my deer" is one I hear.
In the scheme of things....cutting corners to bag a deer ...they probably don;t have it in their gut to be a HUNTER but a shooter. JOIN THE SERVICE!

It gives hunters a bad name ? WHO CARES

How about my neighbor that kills my deer anytime of the year ? Got any words of wisdom for him. He is a Russian a-hole and really could give a rats azz about ANYTHING...no less a deer.

Hey poacher ! WHO CARES ! IF you ate it......if not your a idiot.

Myself....I prefer to HUNT LEGALLY.

In a world where a lot of values are easily thrown out the window, I'm simply not willing to do that until marshbanks comes correct....internet or not.

Ok to answer the OP original question that started all this stuff...If I was allowed to go on to the property (city owned you should be able to but make sure) but not to hunt and I had the time I'd probably take my camera. Do it like your hunting...it will be good practice for when you can hunt someplace...get close and take a picture...

No need to Kill to hunt...that really not what its about to me. I like watching them when they have no clue I am there. I watch many deer all year and may shoot one a year.

Like others said do not do things that are illegal. It only runs the name of hunters down...gives us a bad name....

It is like a term I absolutely hate...The term "road hunters" meaning a person who drives around and shoots from a truck at deer in fields often times in fields they do not have permission on. Lets call it like it is POACHING. There is no hunting to that it is poaching...It is illegal in more than one way here and everywhere I have lived. Just as it would have been if you had gone onto that property and done what you asked about...then you wouldn't have hunted at all....you'd be a poacher like any other poacher.

And you've seen how that goes over here.
