Anyone else having a slow season?
 

Well I missed 2 does during bow season and since rifle season has been in I haven't even seen a deer. I guess its just been to hot down here. Hopefully one will walk out in front of me before the season ends.

13-Your not alone ,I,ve only seen 5 doe's the entire firearm season and that ended last Saturday .Now our muzz season in starting this Saturday don't know if i want to get a lic and go or not . bad year.

It's funny just today I was thinking of posting the samething. I hate that you aren't seeing anything but I'm glad I'm not alone. I havent seen but 2 deer since firearm season opened and not many during bow season. Sure hope that our season changes soon.

I have not seen a deer since opening day. I saw 2 piles of droppings, but not much more. And these piles were just 100 yards off the main road,

Deer numbers are way down in Nebraska. We are in a horrible drought, and just had one of the worst outbreaks of EHD in our history. Been a slow slow year. I was fortunate to tag out, but saw, (and continue to see while coon/coyote/turkey hunting) far fewer deer, and deer sign.

Couple that with it being 65 degrees throughout the November firearm season and it was a recipie for horrible hunting....

It's also been bad here in Southern Maryland. I've seen 1-doe since firearms season has started. I haven't been hearing any shots from other hunters and the hunters that I've been talking to haven't seen anything either. Hopefully, things will change next weekend when Muzzleloader season opens back up.

Slow as well here in NE Indiana. I'm a 911 dispatcher and our car vs deer accidents are also way down from last year.

Boy was it for me. Finally had a decent 4x4 whitetail step out on the last day with only 30 minutes left of the rifle season here in Montana. Meat in the freezer now.

Nah, good season with a 305 pounder in the freezer. Now that I'm back in CT though we're waiting for Second Rut.

Second Rut. It's coming to a woods near you.
