eating deer that had a bad old wound??

Thanks for the imput guys! yea its really tough when you shoot something with a bad wound. the buck i shot with the wound didnt stink and ive already ate some of that deer so not much i can do about it now haha but yea idk if id take a change with my buddy's deer
