December hunting?

Muzzleloader season is going to start this weekend and i was wondering since its colder and everything if the activity of deer increase?

One can only hope!
It depends a lot on your specific area's pressure, food supply, population, and just how comfortable deer feel day to day.

Our muzzleloader is also all December. Seems like its feast or famine most years. If it gets cold, the deer herd up. Seems like you see every deer in the county one day, and o deer the next.

They also seem to be a lot more spooky since they have just endured several months of hunting pressure.

You have to hunt the food sources or paths into the food sources and if it is miserably cold don't even go... After gun season he in KY if the deer even catch a wif of abnormal human scent they're gone. Wait until the wind is perfect and it freezing cold.
