1st blood for the lil 20ga, ie. savage 220

1 shot, ~80yds, pass through
3" federal barnes tipped 20ga sabot slug
believe this is a 54cal ML bullet, but is a factory load.

Great buck!!!! Nice weapon as well. My son killed his first deer with them. That projectile you are speaking of is used in the 50cals. They used to use a Barnes Solid Copper Hollowpoint for I still have about 15bxs for the 20ga and about 1/2cs for the 12. I used to shoot the same projectile in my 50cal in line till I opted for something different. GREAT ROUNDS ALL THE SAME!!!!! Deer never told me different!!!! LMAO!!!!

really happy the untested and little 20ga was up to the job on a big IL whitetail.

I wasn't too worried, but nice to no longer have an untested weapon in hand.
