Im out in knox county around the galesburg area. Dad got out earlier today and said he has seen about 30 deer driving around. Bucks are moving cant wait till morning.

nice i have been seeing the bucks on the move on the move as well in the mornings they was on a lockdown from about monday to wed in my area.in my opinion the rut is just getting good.good luck to you all

Hello, at work today... headed up to Jersey as soon as my boy gets outta school. Hunted bow up there last week. Had all kids of action... using the smoke poles this week..

Well how did you guys do?

I saw a total of 7 does and 3 bucks. All young does and 1spike, 4 pounter, and the last was at least 8 points did get a good look at him he was on the other side if the fence line moving through so thick brush.

My dad got a 7 point brother got a 6 and my cousin shot a button buck.

Wow its good thread!

Clinton and Bond Co. Hunted ALL day, nothing. Should have went duck hunting!!! Heard them slaying them on the lake!!!! Only 2 shots after 3pm. Nothing all day within 1/4mi plus of me. Am going to hunt my back-up spot in another Co. this afternoon. Had job related things to do this AM. I hate work!!! Even when I am on vacation!!!!!

We did ok no giants i shot this buck at 7:10 am the guy hunting a neighboring property unloaded his gun 6 shots and all he hit was the antler it came up in to my lease in the pines with 2 does i gave it a heart shot at 100 yards with a 20 guage loaded with remington copper solids.
