We have a dead buck on our property that's been there for weeks. Coyotes have chewed out the rear end into the intestines and opened the belly, but most if it is still there.

As far as deer, the other day I jumped an 8 point bedded down with a doe out of some brush not far away. They both got up and ran right past the dead one. Lots of tracks around the area too.

Default My $.02

Deer will stay away IF there are yotes around (Coyotes).

No yotes, business as usual.
