Bought my wife 20 gauge H&R pardner pump with 21 inch smooth bore barrel and put her in a improved choke tube. I was worried that she and or the gun wouldnt shoot well and this is what happened from fifty yards . She notched shots on one target and the other smoked it with the exception of the first shot at fifty which was low but after the adjustments WEll youll see.Also topped it off with bushnell 4x32. Shes a first time shooter and she was using Brenkie KOs . Pretty darn good. I tjink she will be putting meat on the table.

Thats some darn good grouping for any gun with a new shooter let alone a new shooter and a smooth bore!

A big misconception among many is that smoothbore shotguns cannot be accurate. While they are not long range shooters, they can be very accurate at reasonable distances. Good shooting and that should put some meat on the table.

Ya I used to use them outta my 20 3 inch magnums dropped plenty !

I hope she does better than my wife. :D I bought my wife a TC Encore blackpowder gun and she does well at the range but has missed 2 deer in the field so far.
