Default Finally!
Finally was able to get a deer this season. First muzzle loader deer ever. Got her today (opener of muzzle loader season) at about 9:00. The shot was about fifty yards or so and she went about ten yards after the shot. Pretty happy to have some meat for the freezer. Taken with a Thompson Center Contender set up with a .50 cal muzzle loader barrel.




Sun was in my eyes for the picture, sorry for the weird face.

Yup. Pretty cool experience with the big puff of smoke. I liked it a lot more than taking a deer with my rifle. Just something different and kinda nostalgic i guess. Its always good to see the deer go down quick too.
