Corn will always be the best bait of choice. But I tried some of the Sugar Beet Crush over the summer and they really hammered it. It's supposed to work year round, but I've only began to use it, so I can't say if it works as a fall attractant.

A high traffic travel corridor during the rut!
I'm so glad baiting isn't legal nor in widespread use in my area. It's not that I'm against it, I've hunted over it in other states where it's legal, but I'm just glad we dont have to mess with it & the largest bucks clearly avoid baitsites during daylight hours in the majority of cases.
Dont have to try & out do the neighbors either with regards to putting out the most bait.

I know i failed to say early season only. During rut i agree hatchie during rut i will hunt a traffic funnel. not a bate site. although during early season it seems to be the only way to get deer to come in.

Dont use Wildgame Innovations Bucker Up Apple it is horrible! I put a pile out in front of my trail camera just to get some pictures and I came back the next week to a pile of mold.
I hunt the edge of a cornfield... not much I can really do that is a more attractant than that.
