HNI - I'm not aware of any place that describes the terms that you've mentioned, but I'll try to help. On a typical whitetail deer rack, there will be a main beam originating from each side of the skull that grows out and curves back towards the nose of the buck. The typical points on the rack will grow out of the top side of the main beam and point upwards. Starting at the skull and moving out along the main beam, there will usually be a relatively short point sticking up in the center of the rack. These usually line up somewhere above the eyes which makes them the eye guards or brow tines (dog-catchers, etc.). Moving further out on the main beam, the remaining points don't have common names (that I'm aware of) so most people use the terminology from the Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young score sheets: Brow tines = G1, next point out is G2, G3, G4, etc. The tip of the main beam is not counted as a "G" point.
