Another What will he score thread
 

Hey guys i'm new here but long time hunter. Got this guy on camera last week in KY. Looks to be a fairly young deer for his antler maturity. What do yall think he will score. He is perfectly typical except for one kicker on his left side. I am thinking he will be high 160's to 170's. I know it is hard to tell withh velvet but its enought to get a decent enough idea.

Also side question for the deer agers out there. How old? you can see in the one picture he has very little sag. In the other picture he has a real long snout.

I would guess a 3 1/2 yr old and you are right in 160 - 170 range

He'd score enough to get any hunters chest pounding!!! I'll second that deerdust most likely scored it in the "ballpark" range.

Would definitely bag him but must be a drought in your area this year too? Body seems to be real small!

Not sure on the score, but what a buck! Thanks for posting those! That's impressive.

yea the drought has hit us pretty hard. I am not sure how with the drought but our acorn crop is huge this year. Doesn't make any sense to me but I'm not complaining! Its good because the corn and bean crops are hurting around here.

yea if he makes the fatal mistake of walking in front of me on sept 1st (opening day in KY) he might as well jump in the freezer! anyone else got any bruisers to share?

Yea we took a laptop with us out in the field and I just took a picture of the computer screen. You can see my reflection. Or maybe it's a squach! :eek:
